Onur is an alumnus of the University of Cambridge (Homerton College), and UCL, with expertise in Mathematics, and a focus on the cognitive and pedagogical mechanisms behind quantitative comprehension and abstract reasoning of organic intelligence within the Faculty of Education.
Onur bridges the gap between organic and artificial intelligence, enhancing our insight into their interactions. His research in mathematical social and cognitive inclusion provides key insights into how organic intelligence processes mathematical structures, which is vital for advancing artificial intelligence. This expertise, combined with his background in International Real Estate and Planning at UCL, has been applied to AI-driven valuation methodologies and the development of advanced and more sophisticated versions of Automated Valuation Models (AVMs), establishing him as a key contributor to real estate innovation and FinTech.
Recognised for his influential network, Onur collaborates with regulators, insurers, and major financial institutions to cultivate strategic relationships that deliver exceptional and unique value to the lending industry.
His global connections extend to major Venture Capital and Private Equity funds, investment and family offices, as well as many strategic angel investors within the investment banking, FinTech, and PropTech sectors, where he has secured substantial investment flows across international markets.
Onur, one of the UK’s youngest Senior Lecturers (equivalent to Associate Professor), brought innovation to academia early in his career. He previously played a key strategic role in the UK expansion of the world’s largest real estate conglomerate and has extensive experience in financial services industry. His blend of strategic oversight and financial expertise enables him to drive transformative growth and deliver exceptional value across industries.
Onur is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), the Royal Statistical Society (FRSS), the Royal Society, for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA), and the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS), He is also a fully qualified teacher status (QTS) holder, awarded by the Department for Education.
